This section is a free online catalogue of cheques issued by British banks. It is a new project (started in November 2019) for which items and information are being added regularly by several contributors. The Society and its members already have thousands of images to upload to this section so please come back regularly.

Below is a listing of all Banks currently on the site and it may be viewed in any order by clicking your choice in the dropdown menu.

The search box enables you to find a bank title, partners name or place of business by keyword search. This can be refined by selecting a category or family tree.

Signatures and Pricing: We attempt to give a market value for each of the entries but this does NOT take into consideration important signatures. However where interesting signatures are known there will be a separate entry and price guide.
